Living in such a vibrant and colorful community, one can’t help but be inspired by all the beauty, color and authenticity surrounding oneself.

Having worked in hospitals most of my life, I was reminded of how things, like art therapy, would make a difference in patient care and outcomes with COVID.

​

It got so stressful in the hospitals that I wanted to do something for myself in order to relieve a little bit of the stress and help others.  I’ve always been creative so I thought I would start painting as a therapy for myself and I found out that I love painting and it was very relaxing to me.

​

I paint every day at the crack of dawn (my quiet time), getting ideas down on canvas and creating pieces that celebrate our community.

​

My style is about the freedom to create on impulse. Whatever comes out of my brain goes down on canvas. Sometimes it very methodical, sometimes just frenetic.
